Port of Paxi (Paxos)

Ferry Routes and Cruises
(Gaios, Paxi, Ionian Islands, Greece)

There are a number of ferry and hydrofoil routes to and from Paxi. These include several daily services to the nearby island of Corfu, as well as ferries linking Paxi with mainland Greece and Italy.

Paxi to Corfu

Both car ferries and passenger-only hydrofoils operate on the route between the port of Corfu and Paxi during the summer months.

The car ferries make daily crossings via Igoumenitsa on the Greek mainland and take around 3 hours, 15 minutes. The hydrofoils Santa II, Santa III, and the recently introduced Paxi Dolphin all take under an hour to make the direct crossing.

Paxi to Brindisi

A modern, speedy hydrofoil service provided by SNAV operates between Paxi and Brindisi in Southern Italy. The daily crossing takes less than seven hours and is operational between early July and September only. The recently redeveloped port of Brindisi offers passengers limited facilities. However, the nearby town of Brindisi has plenty of shops and restaurants.
